CONSULTING
OVERVIEW. Dr. Fugate’s work aims to improve individual and organizational performance by utilizing a variety of practical, research-based tools related to leadership and management development, performance management, organizational culture, motivation, employee engagement, and other employee-centered concepts. His research and consulting span many industries (e.g., healthcare, legal, municipal/government, energy, information technology, and financial services) and often involve organizational assessments intended to measure the human resource health of organizations. Dr. Fugate also has extensive experience in change management which includes but is not limited to: restructurings, downsizing, mergers and acquisitions, and plant closings. He assists leaders in developing, implementing, and evaluating change initiatives (e.g., visions for change) designed to enhance employee performance and organizational competitiveness, including the integration and alignment of organizational cultures and leader behaviors.
